about

"Music" is a complete instrumental overview of Handful of Snowdrops trajectory. From the first tentative steps of "Experiment I and II" in 1984 to 2020' "I'm an Electron". This massive 21 track compilation includes 5 new and unreleased tracks, "Ternion Overture", "Goodbye Serotonin", "I'm an Electron (Always Negative) two of which meant for 'Gris' the third part of the trilogy, forever left incomplete. Also new and never heard before, "Algernon" and "Worst Than Nothing" two tracks meant for my "ambient electronic" project Spaceful of Astronauts that I never could complete. Some speech samples will sound familiar to fans! Furthermore, 3 instrumentals from my francophone project Prochain Épisode are also included. The album concludes with a very rare instrumental that was originally supposed to close the "III" album from 2015. But I decided to leave it off the album back then but made it available for a few days shortly after the album release. Going through all this material was very instructive and illuminating for me. I hope it will have the same effect on you. Like no other HoS album it's a scan of my brain. If you're plague with a short attention span, this is not for you. If you're willing to invest some time and to let yourself be swallowed in, you'll be rewarded.

Handful of Snowdrops Quebec, Québec

Handful of Snowdrops is a postwave band from Quebec City, Canada, with the most dedicated fanbase any artist could dream of. HoS could probably be the biggest small and unknown independent band in the world! :D
Active between 1984 and 1993, HoS returned with 'III' in 2015 and still going today.
