ALCYONE (JP Mercier/JP Mercier) I didn’t know what I was in for When I watched you being born I never knew why I was here for Before I held you in my arms As spring came crying through the door There you were dreamed and sown Then carved out of a star And fate would paint you as a dancer Long before you could walk As graceful as a flight of birds, Above the sea, below the storm Beware, the mewing slows before it stops Believe me, you’d rather have no heart Than feel one break apart I can’t let go… Of the stares you give me With those big blue eyes You fire when I’m wrong I can’t let go… Of the smiles you brake in When you stretch your hand To tell me I belong I can’t let go, no… My god, spring flew by like a summer! You’ve grown up my love, now, you go on I can’t hold you back any longer Too soon you’ll learn that on your own Don’t mind an old heartbroken bag of bones So ill equipped to die alone I can’t let go… Of the stares you give me With those big blue eyes You fire when I’m wrong I can’t let go… Of the smiles you brake in When you stretch your hand To tell me I belong I can’t let go, no…

In Fall 07:26
IN FALL (JP Mercier/JP Mercier) God it’s late and you’re still Dotting a line Where I’ll sing on a deal You shiver up my spine Each autumn more cruel I can never outrun An incoming winter Or could you spare me this one? I am fighting this war for you Whether or not you knew But I fear now, it can never be won I’m ripe and I’m ill Come on, throw me a line That sweet Faustian deal Now, I’m ready to sign I am fighting this war for you Whether or not you knew But I fear now, it can never be won
